My journey and background
I'm Arthur Ferreira, a Junior developer based in Finland. I've been learning programming for over 4 years. I love the feeling of finally figuring out a solution! I've worked on several projects, from personal ideas to collaborative ventures. Web development is my passion but I also enjoy exploring new languages, new technologies and new features that can help create something efficient and valuable for people.

A website built on the WordPress CMS with React integrations. The modern interface uses React Router, Framer Motion, and Tailwind CSS. The backend runs on Apache HTTP Server with PHP and MySQL. Security and SEO features include reCAPTCHA, PWA support, and Open Graph.
Independent Projects
Built several self-driven projects including SisuCursos (a Finnish learning platform for Portuguese speakers), my portfolio, and experimental apps with Next.js, Tailwind, Prisma, and other modern tools. Gained hands-on experience with web development, databases, authentication, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Vercel, Supabase).
Interpreter (PT|FI)
Freelance interpreter (Finnish–Portuguese) for clients across Finland. Strengthened communication, adaptability, and intercultural skills.
Education
Vocational qualification in ICT with a focus on software development. Specialized in web technologies, databases, and programming. Worked on projects using Unity for VR and 3D games, applied microcontrollers in various contexts, and studied robotics and automation. Learned network protocols and server administration (cPanel, phpMyAdmin), and built sites with WordPress as well as UIs with Bootstrap.
